After it's ended,
parts stretch on
unmentioned
much as the
favorite shirt's
untorn sections.
Threadbare garments
offer comforts
mending cheapens.
Such delicates
one hesitates
to sleep in
on occasion:
clothing
the more grown thin
the more one wears
longer worn
further tears.

I'm lovin this poem. Poetry date soon? I need some motivation to write.
I like the way the end is almost dragged out, all the complicated syntax, but is it maybe too complicated? What exactly "further tears?"
