Last Love

After it's ended,
parts stretch on
unmentioned
much as the
favorite shirt's
untorn sections.
Threadbare garments
offer comforts
mending cheapens.
Such delicates
one hesitates
to sleep in
on occasion:
clothing
the more grown thin
the more one wears
longer worn
further tears.

I like the way the end is almost dragged out, all the complicated syntax, but is it maybe too complicated? What exactly "further tears?"
