After it's ended,
parts stretch on
unmentioned
much as the
favorite shirt's
untorn sections.
Threadbare garments
offer comforts
mending cheapens.
Such delicates
one hesitates
to sleep in
on occasion:
clothing
the more grown thin
the more one wears
longer worn
further tears.
